October, 2003 - BGW Systems was acquired by Amplifier Technologies, Inc. (ATI) and operations were moved to ATI's facility in Montebello, CA.
April, 2012. Dolby Laboratories introduced their Dolby Atmos theater playback system to the cinema industry at the Brenden Theatre 5, Las Vegas, NV. BGW amplifiers were used for the Atmos introduction and continue to power theater 5.
April, 2014 BGW announced a new line of Immersive Sound amplifiers designed by noted amplifier engineer and ATI's president, Morris Kessler. The new amplifiers including the 200W x 16 channel BGW VXi8.8, the 400W X 8 channel BGW VXi4.4 and the 800 W x 4 BGW VXi2.2 are designed specifically for immersive formats like Dolby Atmos and Auro-3D. All of the Immersive Sound amplifiers offer advanced telemetry so all critical functions can be monitored on-site or remotely using devices like Apple's iPad.
